Z1 Portable CPAP System

See Details
If you are purchasing a new CPAP, Auto CPAP or BiLevel (BiPAP) machine, humidifier or an oxygen concentrator, then federal law requires that we receive a copy of a prescription written by your doctor. A sleep study report does not qualify as a prescription.  Also, the purchase of complete CPAP masks does require a prescription.  (*** Note that the component parts that make up the mask DO NOT require a prescription! ***)
The prescription must state that it is for CPAP therapy and at what pressure your machine should be set. If you are purchasing a standard CPAP machine (one that operates at a constant pressure), then the prescription must show one pressure setting, which is generally a number between 4 and 20 and measured in cm of H2O. If you are purchasing an Auto CPAP machine, then your prescription must state two different pressures: A low (minimum) pressure setting and a high (maximum) pressure setting. If you are purchasing a BiLevel machine, then your prescription must state two pressure settings: An inspiratory (IPAP) setting and an expiratory (EPAP) setting.  If you are purchasing an Oxygen Concentrator, the prescription should have the flow rate stated in Liters per minute.
Prescriptions can be faxed to us at 888-469-2555, or we can accept a scanned copy of your prescription by emailing it to us at sales@bestcpapprice.com.

Please note that orders for machines, concentrators, or complete masks will NOT be shipped until we receive a copy of your prescription!

The Z1 cpap by HDM (Human Design Medical) is the smallest and lightest cpap available. Smaller than a 20oz Soda bottle the Z1 easily stows in a backpack or carry-on bag making this the perfect cpap for travelers. With the optional PowerShell battery module the Z1 is an ideal choice for back-country campers, scouts, and hunters allowing for a full night's sleep even when AC power isn't available. For those extended outings when power won't be available for several days extra batteries can be purchased to satisfy the needs of the particular situation.

The Z1 also offers comfort features found on more conventional cpap machines such as Ramping and Z-Breathe. Z-Breathe is pressure relief during exhalation similar to Flex and EPR™ found on other cpap machines.

HDM offers free Software that allows users the ability to report compliance if needed for insurance or to satisfy CDL requirements. This software also displays mask leak information.

Innovative Product
I bought the Z1 to replace an older Respironics model. After several weeks of regular use, I can report the Z1 performs as promised. Some reviewers have complained of excessive noise, but I did not find that to be true. This is a great machine that takes up very little space on the night stand and that travels well. I highly recommend it.

Small and portable
Very pleased so far. It is everything that they advertised. I sleep with it just as well as my Philips A-Flex. Will be perfect for traveling and camping. The batteries go easily 8 hours at my setting.

Mr.
Really lightweight and compact. No case with purchase. Need to do software download and upgrade to get CPAP-3 setting for easier breathing during operation.
