FEATURES & BENEFITS:
Chin Straps are often used for those who experience problems associated with open mouth-breathing during their CPAP therapy. A chin strap can solve these problems by holding the mouth closed during sleep, and may prevent the patient from having to wear a full face CPAP mask.
Vertical Design - promotes a vertical angle of force on the chin (as opposed to horizontal) in order to reduce the potential of inducing sleep-related events
Integrated Chin Cup - sewn into the strap to provide a soft and comfortable support without placing unnecessary tension around the chin
Adjustable Support Strap - attaches to a split section of the chin strap and wraps around the back of the head for the ultimate in stability and adjustability
Can be used with most types of mask headgear.
This chinstrap is adjustable with velcro fastening so that one size fits all.
What's in the Box:
One Respironics Premium Chinstrap
Anchoring straps
Printed user instructions for use and care

Excellent Chinstrap
I was not sleeping because my mouth would open just enough to let air escape. My mouth would dry out and hurt and I would wake up numerous times each night. I did not want to go to bed. I received the adjustable chin strap and the first night I slept all night. I do find that placing the strap on first and then the cpap harness second air does not escape from the mask. Excellent device.

I have tried your product and have several concerns. First the pocket that the chin rest in is to small. Also the strap that goes around the back of the head doesn't stay in position with the velcro.

Didn't work
I bought this for my husband in hopes to help his snoring. No such luck...instead he didn't sleep and his chin broke out from the chin strap. I guess I will continue to wear earplugs! ** BCP Note - he needs to have a sleep study done if not already conducted.

Not great
Not as strong as I was lead to believe by other reviews. I use it with another strap and together they work. The little support strap is a joke. I took it off. The other chin strap I bought previously from another site holds this one in place for me.

I was only able to use the chinstrap once because it left marks in my skin along the edge under my chin. The chinstrap was comfortable and I didn't feel it cutting in along the neck, however the stiffness of the fabric left a read mark (line) on my neck that took three days to fade.

The Respironics Premium Adjustable Chinstrap for CPAP and BPAP users is everything that it's advertised to be. I've been using it for only two weeks and so far I have found it to be easy to adjust, it remains in place overnight and doesn't stretch out and lose it's adjustment as much as other chin straps do.

Better than the less expensive version and somewhat more comfortable but will take some getting used to.

Best of the Marginal Crop
I've tried 'em all, and keep coming back to the Respironics Premium Strap. It is the most likely to stay on, and not slip off, through the night. Still, it does occasionally happen, and the result is whistles and snorts and the lower edge of the full face mask teasing the tongue. And did I mention parched lips when there is a significant leak? I'll keep buying this chin strap, which I believe works because of the adjustable strap encircling the back of the head, until something better comes along... and I surely hope that time interval is short.

Apnea totally under control
This is the most comfortable chin strap. Medicare only replaces a chin strap every 6 months and the velcro does not last 6 months. I buy extras fora great price from Best CPAPPrice.com so I can replace it when needed and avoid leakage.

I buy this item, because the one insurance covers is horrible. I love this item, and use it nightly with my CPAP gear. If not mouth falls open and CPAP does no good LOL!

First, this strap is TOO THICK, and it is irritating. Next, no matter how much forward that you move the main strap; it hits your ears. And lastly, the 'slit', in the one side, is unnecessary; the velcro can be used to place it anywhere; all it does is weaken the mask.

Have not used this Chin strap as yet, I'm using the other one first! Ive had my oldest strap being the same as this chin strap and lasted several years till it just got totally stretched out. This strap should do great if like previous one!

Outstanding chin strap - Outstanding price
I've been on a CPAP for 8 years now, and have always had to use a chin strap to keep my mouth from flying open during the night. All previous chin straps have been about 3 inches wide and a narrow strap fit around the back of my head and velcro strapped to the chin strap. It worked, but this Respironics Premium Adjustable Chinstrap is vastly superior to all those used in the past. No guess work in fitting the strap to the chin. I was completely accustomed to it by the third night. The price was so great (on sale) that I ordered two of them based mainly on the familiar name of the manufacturer. This was my first encounter with bestcpapprice.com and I was not disappointed. Product was delivered on 2/24/2013; it was ordered on 2/22/2013. I doubt that quick delivery can be excelled.
