ResMed AirFit™ P30i Nasal Pillows System

See Details
If you are purchasing a new CPAP, Auto CPAP or BiLevel (BiPAP) machine, humidifier or an oxygen concentrator, then federal law requires that we receive a copy of a prescription written by your doctor. A sleep study report does not qualify as a prescription.  Also, the purchase of complete CPAP masks does require a prescription.  (*** Note that the component parts that make up the mask DO NOT require a prescription! ***)
The prescription must state that it is for CPAP therapy and at what pressure your machine should be set. If you are purchasing a standard CPAP machine (one that operates at a constant pressure), then the prescription must show one pressure setting, which is generally a number between 4 and 20 and measured in cm of H2O. If you are purchasing an Auto CPAP machine, then your prescription must state two different pressures: A low (minimum) pressure setting and a high (maximum) pressure setting. If you are purchasing a BiLevel machine, then your prescription must state two pressure settings: An inspiratory (IPAP) setting and an expiratory (EPAP) setting.  If you are purchasing an Oxygen Concentrator, the prescription should have the flow rate stated in Liters per minute.
Prescriptions can be faxed to us at 888-469-2555, or we can accept a scanned copy of your prescription by emailing it to us at [email protected].

Please note that orders for machines, concentrators, or complete masks will NOT be shipped until we receive a copy of your prescription!

The ResMed AirFit™ P30i Nasal Pillows System is the nasal pillows version in ResMed's new AirFit™ line of interfaces.  Like the AirFit N30i, this mask utilizes a hose attachment swivel that is positioned at the crown of the head to move the hose out of the way of active sleepers.  It utilizes the same frame that channels the air down along two passages that run alongside the user's temples, which allows for a clear line of vision with minimal interference with the activities of the user. The AirFit™ P30i comes packaged with three sizes of nasal pillows: small, medium, and large pillows / standard frame for the Standard Starter Pack (63850), and small and medium pillows / small frame for the small starter pack (63851).

Whats a parts kit?

The parts kit consists of the AirFit P30i headgear and the AirFit P30i frame with the nasal pillows included. If you choose this option you do not need a prescription but you will need to assemble the mask yourself.

Product Features:

  • Quiet. The AirFit P30 employs ResMed™s QuietAirTM diffused venting designed to minimize noise and disruption - up to 80% quieter than other nasal pillows designs.
  • Unobtrusive. Designed to be barely noticeable, the QuietAir woven mesh-vent gently directs air away from patients and their bed partners.
  • Easy to fit. The QuickFit auto-adjusting headgear can be fitted in 30 seconds or less and offers premium stability and adjustability.
  • Stable. The innovative headgear is designed to gently stabilize the mask while pulling the pillows firmly into place.

What's in the Box:

  • ResMed AirFit P30i Nasal Pillows interface with headgear
  • Standard (63850) Starter Pack includes three sizes of pillows: (S, M, L) and Medium frame
  • Small (63851) Starter Pack includes two sizes of pillows: (S, M, ) and Small frame

comfortable for side/active sleeper
I changed from Resmed's AirFit P10 to their newer AirFit P30i Nasal Pillows System. What attracted me was the position of its intake on top of my head and on a swivel, since I found the tubing dangling from my nose to be obtrusive and prone to pulling the nasal pillows away from my face when I rolled over. The P30i is comfortable and stays in place better thanks to its strapping on top as well as behind my head.

Not for everybody
This mask was terrible. Great idea of having hose on top of head but difficult to adjust this mask and actually get air into your nose. Other websites offer a 30 day trial on all masks but not this website. I would not order a mask from this web site unless you are certain it will work for you!

best mask i have ever had
I absolutely love this mask. I no longer have seal issues. It is great for my tossing and turning. And the best thing for me is that it directs the air into my nostrils and doesn't push on my nose. I have recommended it to my mother and my aunt.

Well made unit
When I first saw this item I thought this would be better than what I was using, I always have a problem with the angle of the pillow blocks with any headset. After using for a few weeks I found that the angle of the pillow blocks isn't quite right for my nose, they should be a little more upright for me otherwise they leak. I tried the L & M sized pillow blocks w the M size being slightly better. Other than that, I like the unit, there was a little creep of the headband at times but other headsets do the same. I would say to anyone else, it might work for you, worth a try.

I wanted to love this mask. The fit was just ok, no matter how much I messed with it. The most objectionable thing was the noise. Because the air is ducted around your head, it sounds louder than my Aloha mask. Maybe I'll try it again but for now it's just a backup

I've been using a Respironics Dreamwear system that I liked the design of. The location of the air tube to the top of your head is much more comfortable for me. The ResMed system is very similar, but in my opinion much quieter and the nasal cushion more comfortable. I would recommend this system highly.

Great seal but not for me
Not everyone has the same shaped head, the side tubes pressed too hard on my cheek bones. I tried it for one night anyway, and found a semi comfortable strap position. However the nose plugs badly irritated my nostrils and eventually woke me up in pain and extremely congested. I bought the N30i pillow to use with the same headgear and found it more comfortable but not a good seal like the P30i. I’m sure this is great for users with a smaller head and less sensitive nose.
