Questions and Answers
This filter is used in conjunction with the machine's inlet air filters to provide an additional level of air filtration. It is compatible with all CPAP and Bilevel machines, and easily installs between the machine and the breathing tube.
** To reduce the possibility of reduced machine performance, replace these filters when they become visibly dirty. Clear plastic shell makes it easy to see the condition of the filter - replace when it become discolored. This filter may have an impact on the ability of any Auto Adjusting CPAP to accurately respond to airflow restrictions during use. Not recommended if the average pressure is below 7cm H2O.

this filter lowers the machines pressure to much!

Wonderful Filter
I have used these for years and have given them to friends to try. They certainly keep crud etc. from your lungs. I would never travel without the filter especially when staying in hotels. ************ HOWEVER, ******* I have been told by a couple of Respiratory Therapist that they should not be used when there is a HUMIDIFIER inline i.e - water chamber. cheers

Great
My former local supplier never mentioned there was a filter available. I love it. It should be included with the OEM equipment.

Dad, and husband
I would only recomend this to anyone intrested in trying it out to see if it will work for you, I mean you can't beat the asking price for a throw away filter. I like it and it has helped keep the dust, pollen out of my mask it worked for me so, I am going to upgrade to the more pricey one and just the buy replacement filters.

Filters reduce coughing
Replacing the external air filters and adding the bacterial filter made a huge difference in the amount of coughing and phlegm I have during the day.

Bacteria filter - OK
The In-line bacteria filter is OK. I have not noticed any accumulation of dirt or junk so not sure how helpful. Also, it may be contributing to the lack of output in air due to the restriction.

Best bang for buck value
This filter has made such a huge difference, both in the quality of my breathing and the quality of my sleep, I wouldn't consider using a CPAP without one.

Best filter I've ever used!
I was recently in the hospital and they put this type of filter on my c-pap. I noticed the difference right away and now I won't use anything else. One of the best features is that you can see the filter pad change color, which makes it easy to determine when to change it. Also, I checked out so many other sites and the shipping rates here are the most reasonable. Thanks!

Great filter
Installed this filter on top of the water chamber. It's amazing how much junk it picks up. Didn't realize how much stuff gets past the filter on the CPAP machine. Allergies are greatly improved.

Mr.
This filter is great for those of us who suffer allergies. Mine are particularly severe. This filter keeps the allergens out and thus allows me to use the CPAP machine. There was a time I had to quit using the machine, but the filter fixed that.

I began using these once I found that mold builds up inside the machine itself during humid times and using a humidifier. Great for keeping gray matter from my lungs even after I've cleaned the impellerand casing.

These are terrific and they turn dark gray after about 3 weeks from all the "stuff" that is in the air. Well worth the money as not much is more precious than our lungs.

I''ve used a CPAP for about 4 years. I started using these filters about 2 years ago. I thought it might help with allergies. I can''t say it helps with allergies, but it does filter an incredible amount of junk out of the air. The inlet side is usually gray after about 3 weeks. I was surprised at just how dirty the air we breath is.

Q:
My Phillips has a hard connection on the humidifier how does this attach?
Asked by:
Terry
- 8/20/2021
A:
Hi Terry, it fits between the tubing and the machine. One side of the filter has a larger opening and will fit onto the outlet of the machine or humidifier. The other side of the filter is smaller so you can attach a standard tubing to it. It wont work with the heated tubing that has an electrical connection.

Q:
Will this filter work with Philips recalled Dream machine that is humidified?
Asked by:
Denise
- 10/6/2021
A:
This filter will fit between the outlet on your machine or humidifier and the standard hose (not a heated hose). The heated hoses click onto the humidifier so the filters wont work with them. These filters are not designed to get wet so they work better if you don't use the humidifier. The filters do create some resistance to the airflow and will cause a a drop in therapy pressure so keep that in mind. If the filter medium gets wet this pressure drop may be more significant.
