If you are purchasing a new CPAP, Auto CPAP or BiLevel (BiPAP) machine, humidifier or an oxygen concentrator, then federal law requires that we receive a copy of a prescription written by your doctor. A sleep study report does not qualify as a prescription. Also, the purchase of complete CPAP masks does require a prescription. (* Note that the component parts that make up the mask DO NOT require a prescription! *)

The prescription must state that it is for CPAP therapy and at what pressure your machine should be set. If you are purchasing a standard CPAP machine (one that operates at a constant pressure), then the prescription must show one pressure setting, which is generally a number between 4 and 20 and measured in cm of H2O. If you are purchasing an Auto CPAP machine, then your prescription must state two different pressures: A low (minimum) pressure setting and a high (maximum) pressure setting. If you are purchasing a BiLevel machine, then your prescription must state two pressure settings: An inspiratory (IPAP) setting and an expiratory (EPAP) setting. If you are purchasing an Oxygen Concentrator, the prescription should have the flow rate stated in Liters per minute.

The EasyFit Gel nasal mask shares the same frame as the EasyFit silicone version of this mask but the nasal cushion and forehead pad are made from a gel material. The parts are interchangeable between both versions of the mask. The silicone cushions wit fit the gel mask and vice versa.

Best mask so far. Bought an extra forehead cushion just in case as that is the first part that goes. It did and glad I had a replacement. Will buy it again if available.

Save time and money and buy this set.

I spent hours comparing masks from site to site so, I'm sharing a secret time saver and look no further... My large mask with the Gel nasel fits perfectly and the head gear is so easy and comfortable. Glad I ordered 10' hose, 8' would of been just fine. Definitely use a over pass humidifier to prevent dryness, 2' hose is perfect for that. Sleeping happy in Phoenix!

Worth a try!

After 6 years of wearing the same old mask, I saw this DeVilbiss EasyFit Gel mask at a price worth trying. I'm glad I did. It only took one night to convince me that this mask not only was more economical, but more comfortable. The criss-cross headgear really keeps it in place comfortably, and it is so quiet that I actually had to check my machine to make sure it was working! I'm a convert.
