AEIOmed Everest 3 CPAP Unit

See Details
If you are purchasing a new CPAP, Auto CPAP or BiLevel (BiPAP) machine, humidifier or an oxygen concentrator, then federal law requires that we receive a copy of a prescription written by your doctor. A sleep study report does not qualify as a prescription.  Also, the purchase of complete CPAP masks does require a prescription.  (*** Note that the component parts that make up the mask DO NOT require a prescription! ***)
The prescription must state that it is for CPAP therapy and at what pressure your machine should be set. If you are purchasing a standard CPAP machine (one that operates at a constant pressure), then the prescription must show one pressure setting, which is generally a number between 4 and 20 and measured in cm of H2O. If you are purchasing an Auto CPAP machine, then your prescription must state two different pressures: A low (minimum) pressure setting and a high (maximum) pressure setting. If you are purchasing a BiLevel machine, then your prescription must state two pressure settings: An inspiratory (IPAP) setting and an expiratory (EPAP) setting.  If you are purchasing an Oxygen Concentrator, the prescription should have the flow rate stated in Liters per minute.
Prescriptions can be faxed to us at 888-469-2555, or we can accept a scanned copy of your prescription by emailing it to us at [email protected].

Please note that orders for machines, concentrators, or complete masks will NOT be shipped until we receive a copy of your prescription!

The Everest 3 CPAP machine by AEIOmed is the same basic machine that was previously marketed as the Everest Aura and by Invacare as the Polaris TR.ÿ Evo has made some minor changes to the design of the machine to make it quieter and to give it the capability of recording compliance information.ÿ The Everest 3 boasts several improvements over the Everest 2:ÿ a two decibel decrease in sound level, additional efficacy data storage capability, and the machine will now automatically turn off the humidifier when the battery level becomes low while running on battery power, which will increase run time.
The Everestÿis billed as the first fully-integrated battery-powered CPAP unit.ÿ It's main attraction is the battery pack and charger, which enables the user to take it anywhere - whether you're sleeping in a tent, on a boat, or while traveling in a plane or automobile.ÿ All of this can be done simply by using the optional battery pack, which precludes the hassle of finding a 12V DC outlet or finding the correct invertor.

The Everest is compact, measuring 5" x 6" x 5", and light at just 2.1 lbs, but it's also fully functional with a wide pressure range (4-20 cmH2O), adjustable ramp settings, automatic altitude adjustment, leak compensation, compliance meter and of course a quick and simple set-up.
BATTERY OPERATION & BACKUP (not included - see packages at bottom of page)
The most unique feature of the Everest is its OPTIONAL rechargeable battery pack! The battery pack is an integrated unit weighing just 1.58 lbs that fits onto the bottom of the Everest system. With the battery pack attached the Everest can be used for up to 11 hours (at 10 cmH2O) without needing to be recharged or plugged in. So whether you want to go camping, sleep on an overnight flight, or simply ensure that no matter what happens you'll get a peaceful night of uninterrupted therapy, the Everest with battery pack is a great option!

INTEGRATED HEATED HUMIDIFICATION (not included - see packages at bottom of page)
An optional integrated heated humidifier option rounds out the Everest CPAP system. Clinical research has shown that CPAP patients tend to be more compliant with the addition of heated humidity. The Everest heated humidifier provides just enough water for one night™s use, and the reservoir is simple to fill and clean.

5 Stars
My job requires travel and pulling a carry-on bag, laptop bag, and a big, bulky, CPAP bag through airports, was always inconvenient and heavy. When I bought the Everest 3 CPAP Unit it was the answer to my problem. The Everest 3 was very reasonable priced and the machine has performed beyond expectations. I would suggest only one modification; an on/off switch. Most hotels and motels do not make it convenient to unplug the machine when it is not in use.
