I have used these for years and have given them to friends to try. They certainly keep crud etc. from your lungs. I would never travel without the filter especially when staying in hotels.
************
HOWEVER, *******
I have been told by a couple of Respiratory Therapist that they should not be used when there is a HUMIDIFIER inline i.e - water chamber.
cheers

Installed this filter on top of the water chamber. It's amazing how much junk it picks up. Didn't realize how much stuff gets past the filter on the CPAP machine. Allergies are greatly improved. |

You can see how much crap is filtered and not going into your lungs.Without this additional filtration, I keep a mild cough. Thanks for the filters. |

This filter is great for those of us who suffer allergies. Mine are particularly severe. This filter keeps the allergens out and thus allows me to use the CPAP machine. There was a time I had to quit using the machine, but the filter fixed that. |

I began using these once I found that mold builds up inside the machine itself during humid times and using a humidifier. Great for keeping gray matter from my lungs even after I've cleaned the impellerand casing. |
